Couldn’t stop the finger tapping

Now you see it, now you don’t

this charcoal reality

how the human eye captures a scene

a flash bulb illumination

could be a guy on a bike

could be lamplight in

Morecambe Bay

the illusion is grande

it could be heaven

when I saw the fog coming in

I knew

there was no vision left

 in

the row offshore

we four landlubbers

daggers drawn to throats

no turn of tides able to wash

these tears away

SOS. SOS. Save us all.
